– Identify and control risk for the series, limiting liabilities and involving stakeholders with mitigations to eliminate or manage any risk. – Develop positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. – Support procurement of key ESO suppliers through scoping, tender process and contracting to ensure clarity of delivery scope, budget and deliverables. – Contract management of identified LOC’s to ensure agreed actions are taken and that LOC’s work to the agreed timeline. – Identify innovation in event delivery to help raise the profile of the sport. – Manage ESO relationships with identified suppliers throughout the season and ensure delivery standards are of the highest possible standard. – Develop and implement series wide best practice ensuring ESO and LOC teams work to a single, coordinated event plan with clear documentation around plans and delivery. – Ensuring that the needs of all event Functional Areas and Client Groups are scoped and delivered either by the LOC or ESO supplier(s). – Manage the delivery of events that form part of the UCI Mountain World Cup season through liaison with Local Organizing Committees, ESO colleagues and series suppliers, creating and promoting a culture of teamwork, strong relationships, best practice and clear planning and delivery frameworks. You will need a determination to get things done, and the ability to plan and deliver multiple events in parallel. This is a demanding and exciting role that requires meticulous event planning skills, high levels of motivation and energy. Excellent communication skills are essential in ensuring internal and external coordination and critical for liaison with colleagues across the ESO and WBD teams, in particular our Sport team who lead on all elements of the competition.
